AN EPIPHANY:

When my four year old son Jason turned one, I came up with the idea to start my own accessories business. 
I needed something that would allow me to support us while keeping him at home with me while I worked. 
He was still so small and precious and my heart would not allow me to put him in daycare. 
Plus, as a single mother I couldn't afford quality childcare, and so...
 
The Honey Clip was born: A Swarovski crystal money clip for women.
My mission: To help women hold onto their money, both figuratively and literally.

With a background in the Fitness Industry and a new Commercial Pilot's License,
(both requiring long hours away from home)
 I set out as a new designer. 

  The first response of many boutique owners was, "But women don't carry money clips." 
My response, " You're right.  They don't.  But they will!"  
And you did. 

That first year we sold 800 Honey Clips,
 an assortment of handmade leather belts w/crystal buckles
and flip-flops with 400 crystals/ea.
I spent many late nights hand-applying crystals and 
Sunny days in Arizona with my toddler son. 

Three years later, we have moved from Scottsdale to Chicago.  
And while I'm pleased to launch my website full of new designs,
 Jason is busy in Pre-Kindergarten,
 enjoying with amazement and wonder all that makes Chicago a great City!

Some of my stayed and true designs remain,
while the new and evolved

will hopefully surprise and delight many of you.
